Report of the Review Committee on 'Defining the Future'

The University of Melbourne has received the report of the intensive five-month stakeholder consultation and review from the Review Committee, in response to the VCAM Discussion Paper.Independent Chair Dr Ziggy Switkowski and the committee, which included staff, students and community members, considered more than 300 submissions and held consultations and forums to inform the report. The University will prepare its response to the report which will go the University of Melbourne Council for approval. The Report is available to download here www.unimelb.edu.au/vcam-discussion.

Youngest-ever winner of Opera Foundation Australia award

At 20 years of age, alumna Janet Todd is the  youngest-ever winner of an Opera Foundation Australia award – the American Institute Of Musical Studies Award. The Award was granted by Opera Foundation Australia on the advice of the Music Board and enables Janet to participate in the American Institute of Musical Studies course in Graz, Austria during July and August this year.
