Student Timetables

Once enrolled, students can access their personal subject timetable via their my.unimelb, as well as use the portal to register for classes.  Access the student pages on class registration and your timetable to help you get started.

Exam Timetables

Students may have Examination timetables where part or all of their final assessment includes sitting either a central or departmental exam. The University always ensures to publish the Examination period in the Academic Calendar ahead of time, in order to provide students with adequate notice.

Any clash with another assessment should be reported immediately by submitting the forms listed below (you may need to complete both forms):

  • MCM online Exam Clash Notification (for clashes between two faculty scheduled exams or a faculty exam and a central exam)
  • Student Administration Clash Notification form (for clashes between two centrally scheduled exams or a faculty exam and a central exam)

MCM Practical Examinations

Practical Examinations are scheduled by the Faculty individually for each student who is required to present either a Technical or Recital exam. Students presenting recital exams this semester are required to submit a Practical Exam Program Approval.

The Examination timetable is often released part way through the Semester, and all students are notified via their student email address of its availability. Students should note their exam times in their diaries and ensure they are familiar with exam locations.

Arrangements for an accompanist should be made where appropriate, noting that exams cannot be changed to suit accompanist availability.

MCM Written Examinations

All other types of exams within the MCM are referred to as “written” exams, for the purpose of scheduling. Certain subjects may require a final examination assessment in the form of Written, Aural, Presentation, Practical or multiple undertakings.

The Examination timetable is often released part way through the Semester, and all students are notified via their student email address of its availability. Students should note their exam times in their diaries and ensure they are familiar with exam locations.

Semester 1, 2017 Written Exam Timetable will be released from Week 7.
